One of the more recent, cutting edge technologies developed by Brånemark that is now available to many patients is Immediate Load or Immediate Placement dental implants.

This unique procedure enables patients to be fitted for crowns on the same day (or within 2-3 days for some cases) the implant device is installed.

There is no typical 3-6 month waiting period for the implant site to heal or stabilize via osseointegration (titanium implant post fuses with jawbone).

These has greatly influenced the way in which Dental Treatment was perceived by the patient as well as the Dental Surgeon.

Of Course this is exciting but it has its own limitation and can have failure rates as high as 30% in hands of inexperienced Dental Surgeon.The Dentists has to be very particular about Case selection,Diagnosis,Treatment Planning and of course Treatment protocols.
